Meditation is a journey to the creative source of your mind and body. Because it is not possible to force your mind to be quiet, meditation provides the opportunity to access the silence that exists beneath the turbulent surface of your mind.

Emphasis will be on the effects meditation has on the immune system and how practicing meditation on a regular basis can have a positive influence on our health and happiness.  The various methods of meditation will be defined in order to allow people to choose the form of meditation that best suits needs.  Participants will experience a session of meditation and upon completion, will know how to meditate.

By reducing stress and fatigue, meditation enables you to connect with your higher self — where energy, creativity and inner awareness are your natural state of being. The purpose of meditation is to enrich all aspects of your life. Meditation is the perfect antidote to modern stress.

‘Primordial Sound Meditation’ is only one form of mantra meditation and was developed by Dr. Deepak Chopra. A mantra is a specific sound, which when used silently, serves as a vehicle to connect you with deeper aspects of your consciousness. This meditation class will offer various forms of meditation including a mantra form.
